Mary Trump responds to Donald Trump’s ‘seldom seen’ Twitter tirade
The incumbent president may have more things to worry about other than his reelection campaign for the November polls. Mary Trump has so far seen a successful release of her book “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man” pertaining to Donald Trump.
Mary Trump tweeted on Friday, “5.23 million v. 5.11 million.” The figures are references to the viewership ratings of her interview with MSNBC’s Maddow last Thursday. It became the most-watched show on broadcast and cable TV that night after gathering more than 5.2 million viewers in the 25-54 years old demographic. The smaller number, on the other hand, refers to the viewership rating of Donald Trump’s interview with Sean Hannity at Fox News last month.
In talking to Maddow, Mary Trump claimed his uncle had used the “N-word” and anti-Semitic language several times, which she said should not be surprising, “given how virulently racist he is today.” The author, who also has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, sent out the tweet after Donald Trump’s scathing response to her book. The president described Mary Trump as a “seldom seen niece who knows little about me.” The president said she said “untruthful things” about him and his parents and added that she had violated a non-disclosure agreement.

The TV viewership rating is just one of the recent successes Mary Trump has seen related to the release of her book. In June, Donald Trump’s family sued her niece in an attempt to block the book’s publication through a temporary restraining order. But a New York judge ruled in favor of Mary Trump on July 13 — the book arrived in stores the following day.
The White House has since refuted claims made about Donald Trump in “Too Much and Never Enough” as Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said, “It's ridiculous, absurd allegations that have absolutely no bearing in truth.” However, the public’s interest over Mary Trump’s revelations is hard to ignore after it quickly became a best-seller. Publisher Simon & Schuster announced Mary Trump’s book has set a new first-day record for the company after selling 950,000 copies on the day of its release.
